FUDCon is the Fedora Users and Developers Conference, a major free software event held in various regions around the world, usually annually per region by the Fedora Project, a GNU/Linux distribution community.
FUDCon is a combination of sessions, talks, workshops, and hackfests in which contributors work on specific initiatives. Topics include infrastructure, feature development, community building, general management and governance, marketing, testing and QA, packaging, etc.
This year, Malaysia gets the opportunity to host this premier event for the Asia Pacific region and we are inviting everyone, developers and users alike,to participate in this event which will be a span of 3 days, at The AsiaPacific University College of Technology and Innovation (UCTI a.k.a APIIT), Bukit Jalil.
Pre-registration for FUDCon KL 2012 is now open and you may pre-register at the wiki page. Admission is free and open to all. We will be launching an event site later but we encourage people to pre-register as our budget is limited, therefore t-shirt and freebies will only be available to those who register and attend early. So register now to avoid disappointment!.
Fedora contributors who wishes to get a travel and/or lodging subsidies to attend FUDCon KL 2012 may do so by filing a ticket at the fudcon-planning trac.
